Why customers choose Transit container shipping

A container is not just packaging. It is a standardized module that travels by sea, rail and road without transloading the goods. Loaded once — and we do not open it until the destination.

  1. One container along the entire route

The goods are loaded into the container just once — at the shipper's premises. From there the container travels by sea, rail or road without transloading its contents. The sealed container protects against moisture, dust and mechanical damage. The risk of cargo damage is minimal.

  2. Four transport corridors instead of one

We operate four rail corridors: Zabaykalsk–Manzhouli, Grodekovo–Suifenhe, Naushki via Mongolia, and Dostyk via Kazakhstan. When one direction gets congested, cargo is rerouted to an alternative corridor without delay.

  3. Own assets across the entire chain

36 000+ own containers, 2 000+ own container flatcars, 400+ tractor units and our own Transit Line shipping service with 7 vessels in ownership. A direct contract with China Railway. Own warehouses in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok and Novosibirsk.

  4. Online control at every stage

The container's current location, estimated time of arrival (ETA), cargo photos, data on passing borders and customs checkpoints — all in your personal account. Managers across Russian time zones ensure continuous control.

Sea + rail + road · no cargo transloading

Shipping geography

Our shipping geography covers the key trade routes of Russia and the CIS. Every route is backed by own assets and operating infrastructure.

China — Russia

The main import route. Four rail corridors, sea lines via Vladivostok, road transportation. Offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Qingdao, Guangzhou and Chengdu — local specialists arrange the first mile and check documents. Delivery from Chinese stations to Moscow — from 14 days.

Russia — China (agricultural export)

Agricultural export via the Ussuriysk terminal. Formation of container block trains carrying grain, oilseeds and pulses. The combination of “terminal + own flatcars + a direct contract with China Railway” ensures an uninterrupted flow.

Southeast Asia — Russia

Sea lines from Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia via Vladivostok. An office in Ho Chi Minh City — the first mile in the country of origin. Further delivery across Russia by rail or road.

Company scale and capacity

International transport group Transit is not just a carrier but a single operator with own assets across the entire supply chain. These are the numbers that define our capabilities.

Own rail flatcars and a direct contract with China Railway

2 000+ own container flatcars. A direct contract with China Railway. A stable schedule of our own trains. We select an operational China Railway station close to the shipper's factory — eliminating an unnecessary truck leg to the port.

Route switching during congestion

We operate four rail corridors: Zabaykalsk–Manzhouli (the main one, with maximum capacity), Grodekovo–Suifenhe (an alternative for northern China), Naushki via Mongolia (own flatcars), and Dostyk via Kazakhstan. When one direction gets congested, cargo is rerouted to an alternative corridor.

Own terminal in the Far East

The Ussuriysk terminal — consolidation and distribution of cargo from the Far East. The combination of “terminal + own flatcars + a direct contract with China Railway” ensures an uninterrupted flow.

International presence

Offices in Russia — from Moscow to Vladivostok. The Russian network is complemented by companies abroad: in China (Shanghai, Beijing, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Chengdu), South Korea (Busan), Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City), Kazakhstan (Almaty), Belarus (Minsk). Managers work across all time zones: a customer's request never “hangs until Monday.” The first mile in the country of origin is arranged by local specialists.

Warehouses and 3PL infrastructure

Own warehouses: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk. Cross-docking without storage. WMS integration with the client's 1C via API/EDI. A federal network of terminals for consolidated (LCL) cargo.

Online control and transparency

Personal account: shipment statuses, ETA, cargo photos, border crossing data, closing documents. Managers in different time zones ensure continuous control and rapid response to deviations. A transparent rate structure with no hidden charges.

Cases we solve

Every customer solves their own business challenge. Below are typical scenarios for which we have already configured logistics solutions based on our own assets.

Containers from China — no downtime at the border

A distributor imports electronics from China. We select an operational China Railway station close to the shipper's factory, eliminating an unnecessary truck leg to the port. Own flatcars and a direct contract with China Railway deliver a stable schedule. Switching between the four corridors during congestion. Result: delivery from Chinese stations to Moscow from 14 days, with a predictable budget.

Delivery to Ozon, Wildberries and Yandex fulfillment centers

A supplier receives goods from China and distributes them across marketplace warehouses. We arrange container acceptance, deconsolidation at our own warehouses in Moscow and the regions, arrival notices, time slots and delivery to fulfillment centers. One container — dozens of SKUs to different FCs. A claim rate of 0.1% — minimal picking errors.

The optimal balance of transit time, cost and cargo safety

A manufacturer needs to deliver equipment from China to Yekaterinburg. We provide a comparative calculation of three scenarios: sea + rail, direct rail and road. The customer chooses the optimal time/cost option. One container across all modes of transport — no transloading of goods. Own assets eliminate dependence on intermediaries.

Stages of arranging transportation

  1. Request and consultation

You submit a request with your cargo parameters. The manager clarifies the details: route, timelines, container type, special requirements. We hold an initial consultation on the optimal shipping method.

  2. Quotation and contract

We prepare a commercial offer with a breakdown of all costs: station-to-station, first mile, local charges, estimated customs payments. We sign a contract fixing the timelines and the cost of logistics.

  3. Pickup and cargo preparation

We arrange the first mile — pickup of the cargo from the shipper's warehouse. We check the documentation, HS/EAEU code compliance, packaging and marking. If necessary, we consolidate the cargo at our warehouse.

  4. Insurance

We offer cargo insurance at full value. We issue a policy covering risks on all legs of the route — from pickup to delivery.

  5. Customs clearance

Our customs representatives prepare the declaration, calculate duties and VAT, and support the release of the goods.

  6. Transportation and monitoring

The cargo moves along the approved route. You get online access to shipment statuses: current location, ETA, photos, border crossing data. Managers in different time zones ensure continuous control.

  7. Unloading and reporting

We arrange the last mile — delivery of the container to the consignee's warehouse. We hand over a complete set of closing documents: transport waybills, customs declarations, statements of completed work.

Comprehensive logistics support

International transport group Transit is not just a carrier but a single operator across the entire supply chain. We take on all stages: from the first mile in the country of origin to the last mile at the consignee's warehouse.

Customs clearance

Full cycle: goods classification under EAEU HS codes, customs value calculation, preparation of declarations, release support. We handle import duties, VAT, excise taxes and currency control.

Cargo insurance

Insurance of the container and cargo at full value on all legs of the route — sea, rail and road. The policy covers damage, loss and delivery delay risks.

Freight forwarding and warehousing

Contract warehousing at our own warehouses in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok and Novosibirsk. Cross-docking without storage — a 10–15% cost reduction. Marketplace services: arrival notices, time slots, delivery to Ozon, Wildberries and Yandex Market fulfillment centers.
