Why hasn't container pickup from the railway station started, even though my personal account shows that the container has already arrived?

The arrival of a container train at a station does not mean that the container will immediately be positioned for unloading. There are many factors that can affect how quickly unloading begins - for example, — the availability of unloading fronts. This is one of the reasons for the difference between the container's arrival date and the date when unloading and pickup from the station actually begin.

Why can't I get information about my container?

There are several reasons why you may be unable to get accurate information about a container at the moment. Perhaps you did not specify:

  • who the consignee is;
  • the delivery address;
  • the container's current position.

Without this information, it is extremely difficult to give an adequate answer to any questions about the container's current location.

I calculated the container arrival date myself, but the actual arrival date does not match my calculations. Why does this happen?

It is important to understand that any calculations of the exact container arrival date are approximate. Various unforeseen situations may arise in transit (including weather conditions) that affect delivery times. It is unreasonable to assume that you can predict the actual arrival date of a container.

I called the warehouse or came in person to find out whether the cargo had arrived, but I don't know the request number. What should I do?

Unfortunately, to quickly receive information about the location of your cargo, you must know the six-digit request number. Otherwise, obtaining such information promptly may simply be impossible.

It is also important to remember that the consignee must arrive at the warehouse with a power of attorney for cargo collection. The power of attorney can also be sent in advance by email.
