Sea Containers
A sea freight container for international (and domestic) transportation is a unit of reusable transport equipment. The design of a sea freight container ensures the safe carriage of goods by one or more modes of transport, which is achieved through the container's sufficient strength over its established service life.
Regardless of its purpose, every container is standardized by gross weight, dimensions, and connecting dimensions, as well as by the design of the fittings used to attach it to rail and road rolling stock and to the lifting gear of handling machinery. This makes it possible to perform combined transportation by various modes of transport with a minimum expenditure of time and labor, implementing the door-to-door principle.
The main types of containers used in transportation are sea containers of size types IC and ICC, as well as IA and IAA. Containers of size types ICC and IAA are 2591 mm (8.5 feet) high, while containers of size types IC and IA are 2438 mm (8.0 feet) high. This circumstance also accounts for the higher tariff for transportation across the railway network at the same static load.
The most important operational parameters of containers are the internal dimensions, such as the door opening width (2286 mm), the height (2261 mm for ICC and IAA, 2134 mm for IC and IA), and the internal volume, as well as the weight of the cargo carried, which together with the container's tare weight makes up the gross weight.

Open Top
This container allows the carriage of cargo more than 2.4 meters high and of goods that require good ventilation. The top of the container is closed with a tight, durable tarpaulin. The maximum cargo weight may vary; please check for each shipment.

Flat Rack
