The fact is that container train arrival to the terminal does not at all mean that the container will be immediately delivered for unloading. There are many factors that can affect the container processing speed, for example, the occupancy of the unloading fronts. This is one of the reasons affecting the difference between the date of container arrival and the date of the actual start of unloading and container removal from the rail terminal.

There are several reasons why you cannot receive accurate information about your container now. You may not have specified:

• who is the consignee;
• delivery address;
• containers' current location.

Without this information, it is extremely difficult to answer any questions about the current location of your container.

It is important to understand that any calculations regarding the exact date of container arrival are approximate. A variety of unforeseen situations (including weather conditions) may occur along the route and affect delivery time. It is unreasonable to assume that you can predict the actual arrival date.

Unfortunately, in order to get information about cargo location quickly, you must know the six-digit order number. Otherwise, prompt receipt of such information can simply be impossible.

It is also important to remember that the consignee must arrive at the warehouse with a power of attorney for receipt. The power of attorney can also be present to you by email.
