FBO fulfillment for sellers and online stores

International transport group Transit arranges FBO as responsible storage and delivery within a single warehouse framework. We receive the goods, control the quality, store, assemble, and label orders to the platform's requirements, notify the platform of the incoming supply, and deliver it to the marketplace fulfillment centers.

Why arrange FBO through Transit

FBO requires linking warehouse discipline, marketplace requirements, and delivery to the distribution center. We build this process within a single framework — from receiving the batch to handing it over to the platform's warehouse.

  1. Warehouse infrastructure in key hubs

The company's 30+ warehouses and offices operate across Russia. Total warehouse space exceeds 30 000 m²; the key hubs are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, and Vladivostok.

  2. Operations to the platform's requirements

The framework includes receiving, defect control, storage, order assembly, packaging, and labeling with barcodes and QR codes — in line with the requirements of the specific platform.

  3. WMS and integration with the accounting system

The WMS system reduces the risk of assembly errors. WMS can be integrated with the client's 1C to synchronize warehouse records and operational data.

  4. Shipping to fulfillment centers

Our own fleet is used for delivery to marketplace warehouses. Supply notification and time slot management help prepare the shipment for receiving on the platform's side.

What cargo we transport

The warehouse framework can be configured for the assortment approved for sale and matching the storage conditions. Before launch, we agree on the requirements for the goods, labeling, packaging, and supply.

Types of services

FBO is one of the models of warehouse logistics. We choose it when the goods must be stored and handled by the operator until handover to the sales channel.

FBO — storage and delivery through the operator

Responsible storage and delivery within a single operational framework: the batch is accepted at the warehouse, handled, and prepared for handover to the fulfillment center.

Storage + assembly + delivery

FBS — storage by the seller

The goods are stored by the seller, and delivery is arranged through the operator's framework. Suitable when it is important for the seller to keep storage at their own site.

Storage by the seller

Cross-dock — handling without storage

The cargo is accepted at the terminal, resorted, and immediately dispatched to its destinations. The model is used for distributing goods without long-term warehouse placement.

Without long-term storage

Returns logistics

Returns are included in the warehouse framework: the goods are accepted, recorded, and go through the operations agreed with the client and the platform's requirements.

Returns control

Transportation geography

The warehouse capacities are located in cities convenient for distributing batches to marketplaces and regional sales channels.

Moscow

The Moscow North and Moscow South terminals form a large warehouse framework. The Moscow Vnukovo terminal performs assortment handling, storage, labeling, and building cargoes for marketplaces.

St. Petersburg

The terminal in Shushary provides receiving and issuing, storage, packaging, loading and unloading operations, sorting, and batch assembly.

Vladivostok

The terminal at Snegovaya receives and releases cargo for inter-terminal transportation and performs 3PL assortment storage, consolidation, packaging, and cargo securing.

Cases we solve

Before launching FBO, we determine how the goods will move, which operations are required at the warehouse, and how the supply should be prepared.

Preparing the first supply to a marketplace

We receive the goods, carry out quality control, organize storage, assembly, packaging, and labeling. Then we agree on the supply notification and the time slot for delivery to the fulfillment center.

An import batch within a single logistics framework

For goods from abroad, international delivery, customs clearance, warehouse handling, and shipping to the fulfillment center can be linked within one project.

Working with returns

Returned goods are accepted into the warehouse framework, recorded, and processed according to the regulations agreed with the client.

Stages of transportation organization

  1. Request and process audit

We clarify the assortment, volume, sales scheme, platform requirements, and the warehouse operations needed.

  2. Agreeing on the model

We determine the warehouse site and the procedure for records, handling, labeling, and delivery.

  3. Records integration

If necessary, we set up data exchange between WMS and the client's 1C.

  4. Receiving the goods

We accept the batch at the warehouse and carry out quality control under the agreed regulations.

  5. Storage and handling

We place the goods, assemble orders, package, and label supplies.

  6. Supply notification

We prepare the supply for handover: notification and time slot management are performed according to the platform's rules.

  7. Delivery and control

We deliver the goods to the fulfillment center with our own fleet and record the operation status.
